Store Assistant

Job Role:

• Packaging Material Management: Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of packaging materials, including laminates, cartons, corrugated boxes, labels, wrappers, tapes, and other packaging consumables.
• Material Receipt & Verification: Verify incoming packaging materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and approved specifications, and report discrepancies or damages to the concerned departments.
• Material Issuance: Issue packaging materials to production lines according to approved production plans, material requisitions, and batch requirements.
• Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory with system records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• FIFO/FEFO Compliance: Ensure proper material storage and rotation practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out), wherever applicable.
• Packaging Material Traceability: Maintain batch numbers, lot details, material codes, and other traceability records to ensure proper identification and tracking of packaging materials.
• Coordination with Production: Coordinate with Production and Planning teams to ensure the timely supply of packaging materials and avoid production interruptions due to material shortages.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of material receipts, issues, returns, transfers, stock balances, and daily inventory transactions.
• Material Loss Control: Minimize packaging material wastage, damage, pilferage, and unnecessary consumption through proper handling and storage.
• Stock Monitoring: Identify slow-moving, obsolete, excess, and short-stock items and report them to the reporting manager for timely action.

Qualification: Graduate

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹325,000.00 per year
