Store Assistant Manager

The Assistant Officer-in-Charge (Assistant OIC) supports the Store OIC in managing the daily operations of FantasyWorld. The role is responsible for assisting in supervising employees, maintaining smooth store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the OIC in the overall day-to-day operations of the store.
• Supervise and monitor employees to ensure proper performance and attendance.
• Assist in staff scheduling and manpower allocation based on operational needs.
• Monitor employees' compliance with company policies, procedures, and work standards.
• Ensure that the store is clean, organized, safe, and ready for operations.
• Assist in monitoring sales, cash handling, POS transactions, and daily reports.
• Ensure that all sales and transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock receiving, checking, and replenishment.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, and other operational concerns to the OIC.
• Assist in handling customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Monitor the proper handling and maintenance of store equipment and facilities.
• Assist in conducting opening and closing procedures and ensure that all required checklists are completed.
• Support the OIC in conducting employee coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
• Immediately report incidents, employee concerns, safety issues, and operational problems to the OIC.
• Act as the Officer-in-Charge when the Store OIC is unavailable.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Store OIC or management.

Qualifications:

• At least 1–2 years of experience in retail, food service, entertainment, or store operations.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership position is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of POS, cash handling, inventory, and store operations.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be responsible, organized, trustworthy, and highly attentive to operational details.
