Pet Supply Store Associate

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Pet Supply Store Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, helping customers find the right products for their pets, maintaining a clean and organized store, and assisting with day-to-day store operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Assist customers with selecting pet food, treats, toys, supplements, grooming products, and other supplies.
• Learn about the products we carry and help customers make appropriate selections for their pets.
• Operate the register and accurately process cash, credit card, and other transactions.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, check expiration dates, and keep merchandise organized.
• Receive and put away deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and general cleaning.
• Keep displays neat, stocked, and organized.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with general questions.
• Assist customers with grooming appointment questions and scheduling when needed.
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Work cooperatively with groomers and other team members.
• Perform other store-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with customers.
• Dependable and punctual with reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working around dogs and other pets of different sizes and temperaments.
• Able to learn about pet foods, treats, supplements, and other products.
• Able to lift and carry bags of pet food and other merchandise.
• Able to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Retail, customer service, or pet industry experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
