Store Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
• Inspect materials for quantity, quality, and physical condition.
• Perform goods receipt and other relevant inventory transactions in SAP.
• Issue materials to departments based on approved requests.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper material identification and storage.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with SAP records.
• Support stock transfers, returns, and material movements in SAP.
• Prepare and maintain store documentation, including GRN, material issue slips, and stock reports.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, housekeeping, and safe handling of materials.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Follow company policies related to inventory control, safety, and warehouse operations.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP MM / Inventory Management.
• Experience with goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and inventory adjustments.
• Ability to check material codes, purchase orders, stock quantities, and inventory status in SAP.
• Understanding of SAP-based inventory reconciliation and reporting.
• Familiarity with barcode/scanner-based inventory processes is an advantage.
