What they need
Company Description Läderach is a Swiss family-owned chocolate company known worldwide for its fresh, premium-quality chocolate, pralines, truffles, and other artisanal creations. Founded in 1962 and still producing exclusively in Glarus, Switzerland, Läderach oversees the entire journey from cocoa bean to bar, ensuring quality at every step. The company is committed to innovation, sustainability, and social responsibility, using selected ingredients, regional Swiss raw materials where possible, and paying cocoa farmers above market prices. With over 3,000 team members from more than 80 countries and more than 250 chocolateries globally, including locations in Paris, New York, and Shanghai, Läderach offers an international, growth-oriented environment. The brand’s reputation is reinforced by numerous awards and its focus on craftsmanship and passion for chocolate.
Role Description The Store Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area, responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store experience that reflects Läderach’s premium brand. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and engaging customers, sharing product knowledge, offering samples, and guiding guests through the chocolate assortment to support individual preferences and gifting needs. The role involves operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and card transactions accurately, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring the boutique is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Store Associates assist with inventory counts, restocking, and product rotation to uphold freshness and quality standards, as well as supporting store opening and closing procedures. The position may also involve participating in in-store events, contributing to sales targets, and promoting customer loyalty programs.
