Store Associate

Job Summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a friendly and energetic Store Associate to help create a welcoming experience for every guest. This position supports daily shop operations through customer service, order preparation, product presentation, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take orders and process transactions accurately
• Serve ice cream, desserts, and other menu items according to store standards
• Prepare and package customer orders neatly
• Maintain clean and organized counters, displays, and service areas
• Restock products, toppings, packaging, and other supplies
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Answer customer questions and assist with product selections
• Support team members during busy shifts

Qualifications

• Previous retail, café, dessert, or customer-service experience preferred
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing routine lifting

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
