Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Stock shelves efficiently using equipment like pallet jacks and RF scanners, ensuring products are organized and accessible
• Manage inventory control through regular stock checks, accurate data entry, and proper merchandise placement
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and material handling tools safely to load, unload, and transport goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including cleaning displays, aisles, and storage areas
• Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments accurately and efficiently
• Handle cashiering duties including processing transactions with accuracy while delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Previous retail store experience or familiarity with grocery or warehouse environments is preferred
• Ability to operate inventory management tools such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices throughout shifts
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, inventory counts, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques, produce handling (if applicable), and store merchandising standards is advantageous
