Duties

• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience
• Stock shelves efficiently and maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading merchandise safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including merchandising displays, packing areas, and storage spaces
• Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating records accurately
• Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices to prevent injury
• Provide excellent customer service at checkout counters through cashiering duties and assisting with product packaging
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain high standards of safety and organization

Qualifications

• Prior retail store experience or grocery store experience is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, inventory counts, and stock calculations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, proactive attitude

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
