Store Associate

This is a full-time position requiring availability Monday through Saturday. Candidates should be flexible and able to work scheduled shifts throughout the week, including Saturdays.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their shipping, mailing, and retail needs
• Assist customers with product demos, explaining features of various store merchandise and services
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling opportunities
• Manage merchandising displays to ensure the store remains organized, attractive, and fully stocked
• Conduct basic math calculations for transactions, refunds, and pricing adjustments
• Handle phone inquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette and provide information about store services
• Support sales initiatives through effective upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue

Skills

• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively
• Proven experience in retail sales or technical sales environments with a focus on product demos and customer engagement
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey product benefits and answer customer questions confidently
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting
• Time management skills to prioritize responsibilities and ensure timely completion of duties
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling, pricing, and transaction accuracy
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks and operate POS systems seamlessly

We are looking to hire team members for two locations: Alliston and Stouffville, Ontario. Candidates will be considered for either location based on availability and staffing needs.
