Store Associate

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are properly labeled and organized according to merchandising standards
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading and unloading shipments
• Use RF scanners for accurate inventory control and management of stock levels
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including load and unload activities
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the store and warehouse areas
• Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating records accurately
• Provide product knowledge assistance to customers, including grocery items, produce, and retail merchandise
• Handle cashiering duties with professionalism, including processing transactions and managing returns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and effective merchandising strategies

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, grocery store operations, or warehouse environments with strong knowledge of inventory control
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and merchandising tasks
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and product measurements
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse operations
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards
• Flexibility to perform cleaning duties and support maintenance tasks as needed

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
