Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their shopping needs
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is presented attractively and safely
• Handle shipping and receiving duties
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including merchandising displays and storage zones
• Assist with product packaging, labeling, and basic maintenance tasks to keep the store in top condition
• Support inventory control efforts through regular stock checks and inventory management procedures
• Provide knowledgeable assistance on retail products, including produce and grocery items, to enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members on merchandising strategies and store organization initiatives

Requirements

• Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations background preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, inventory management, and merchandising
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while following safe lifting practices
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, inventory counts, and cash register operations
• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
