What You’ll Do

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help lead the café during daily operations while creating an exceptional guest experience for both customers and team members.

Lead the Shift

• Support daily café operations and help ensure smooth shift execution
• Guide and motivate team members during busy service periods
• Help maintain strong service, cleanliness, and food-quality standards
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities

Deliver Great Hospitality

• Create a welcoming environment for every guest
• Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally
• Lead by example through positive energy and strong teamwork

Support Operational Excellence

• Monitor product presentation and inventory levels
• Ensure café cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
• Assist with register operations, cash handling, and shift reporting
• Communicate operational updates and support management initiatives

Build Team Culture

• Help train and support new associates
• Encourage accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Prior café, restaurant, or retail leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, organized, and team-oriented mindset
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
