Job Summary

East Northport One Stop is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hardworking Deli & Convenience Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, prepare deli orders, operate the cash register, restock merchandise, and help maintain a clean and organized store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare deli sandwiches, wraps, and other food orders.
• Operate the cash register and process cash, credit card, and other payments accurately.
• Restock shelves, refrigerators, beverages, snacks, and other merchandise.
• Monitor product expiration dates and maintain proper food storage.
• Keep the deli counter, kitchen, checkout area, and store clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory checks and receiving deliveries.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and store security procedures.
• Handle customer questions and resolve routine issues professionally.
• Perform other general store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system.
• Willingness to learn deli food preparation and store procedures.
• Previous deli, convenience store, or retail experience is a plus.

• Pay: Based on experience
• Schedule: Flexible shifts, including weekends as needed
