Store Attendant - Dry Cleaners

John's Cleaners is seeking a motivated, dependable, and friendly Store Attendant to join our team. As a Store Attendant, you’ll be the face of our business, providing exceptional service to customers in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and inviting attitude.
• Process drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring accuracy of customer orders.
• Operate the computer system for transactions and cash handling.
• Assist with garment tagging, sorting, and maintaining cleanliness of the store.
• Provide customers with information about services, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensure the store is organized, neat, and well-stocked at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, following safety protocols.
• Occasionally help with lifting items up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Ideal Candidate:

• Customer Service Experience: A positive and customer-centric attitude is a must! You’ll be engaging with a diverse range of people, so patience and strong communication skills are key.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy when processing orders and handling garments is essential.
• Physical: Able to stand for extended periods, climb steps, and occasionally lift 30 lbs.
• Technology Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems. Experience with cash handling is a plus.
• Friendly & Professional: An inviting personality with a strong work ethic, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Self-motivated: Capable of working alone for an entire shift.
• Prior Experience: Experience in retail, customer service...but we are willing to train the right candidate. ( dry cleaning experience is a plus)
