Store Clerk

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the store. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the cash register and manage transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide informed assistance.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Promote sales of products through effective communication and customer engagement.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 18.0 per week
