Store cum Product Development Assistant

Job Scope / Responsibilities

Store & Warehouse Operations

• Handle, pack and arrange customer orders efficiently.
• Verify the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing goods.
• Count or weigh goods according to supporting documents.
• Assist with daily store and warehouse operations, including stock management.
• Assist in maintaining proper stock levels and conducting regular stock takes.
• Organize and arrange inventory systematically for easy access.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Product Development & R&D

• Assist with vape flavour evaluation and testing.
• Provide feedback on flavour taste, quality and overall flavour profile.
• Identify and differentiate various flavour profiles.
• Support flavour development and R&D activities when required.
• Assist with product sampling, testing and related R&D tasks.
• Evaluate new flavours and provide feedback on taste and potential market acceptance.

Overseas / China Assignment

• Travel to China when required for product development and related business activities.
• Assist with product sampling, flavour evaluation and testing during overseas assignments.
• Attend supplier visits and support product sourcing or development activities.
• Assist the team during overseas product development and R&D activities.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

General Responsibilities

• Support overall store, warehouse and R&D operations as required.
• Work closely with supervisors and relevant departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Maintain a responsible and positive working attitude at all times.
• Perform other duties and assignments as reasonably assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Physically fit with good eyesight.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent in Malay, English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Good time management and a positive working attitude.
• Familiar with vape products and flavours.
• Have a good sense of taste and able to identify and differentiate various flavours.
• Able to evaluate flavour profiles and identify flavours with good taste and market potential.
• Interest or experience in flavour development / R&D is an added advantage.
• Willing and able to travel overseas, particularly to China, when required.
• Willing to support both store/warehouse operations and product development activities.
