Store Department Manager

📍 Location: Ha Noi

We are currently supporting our client – one of the world's leading sports retail brand, in searching for dynamic Department Managers to join their fast-growing team in Ha Noi.

This role acts like an "Intrapreneur". You will have the full autonomy to build your own commercial policy, manage a large-scale sports department (operating like an independent store), and lead a team of sports passionate individuals to deliver a "best in class" omnichannel shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Human Capital Development & Leadership

• Recruit, onboard, and train new talents to build a strong, autonomous, and complementary sports team.
• Embody and transmit Decathlon’s core values and purpose to foster team engagement.
• Lead the management scheme, ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and decide on team compensation in alignment with company policies.

Commercial Strategy & Intrapreneurship

• Analyze customer data and market trends to build an ambitious commercial policy for your priority sports.
• Optimize product selection and merchandising layout according to seasonal guidelines and omnichannel/circularity strategies.
• Mobilize local sport communities through engaging communication channels and offline events.

Omnichannel Customer Experience Management

• Embody and drive "best in class" customer relationship standards on the sales floor.
• Implement standard selling processes, product layout, and store organization to help customers find products quickly and autonomously.
• Manage the loyalty program and leverage customer feedback to continuously optimize the store experience.

Business Performance & Trajectory Tracking (P&L)

• Build annual business trajectories (People, Planet, Business) and manage the reliability of sales forecasts.
• Manage and control the department's P&L, formalizing action plans to bridge any performance gaps.
• Schedule staff working hours efficiently and optimize stock availability while minimizing stock lifetime.

Requirements

Experience

• A strong passion for sports and a desire to play the role of a team leader/mentor.
• Dynamic, proactive, with a high sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
• A person of action with a strong capacity for decision-making and driving commercial results.

Skills

• Fluency in both Vietnamese & English communication.
• High flexibility and readiness to work during the weekends (5 days per week).
