Sanford Marketing Corporation ('Savemore Market') is seeking a talented and experienced Store Development Supervisor (Architect) to join our team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the design and development of our retail stores nationwide. What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end design and development process for new Savemore Market store locations
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the construction and operations teams, to ensure seamless project delivery
• Develop and implement design standards and guidelines to maintain a consistent brand identity across all stores
• Collaborate with external vendors, such as architects and contractors, to bring design concepts to life
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure successful completion
• Provide technical guidance and support to the wider store development team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations to inform design decisions

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Current licensed architect credential required at the time of application
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar store development or retail architecture role
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes
• Proficiency in using design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with the retail industry and an understanding of customer experience design
