Store Executive

Urgently required Store Executive for the well-known Manufacturing company located at Wagle-Estate, Thane-West.

Position:- Stores Executive

Experience:- 3 - 4 Years

Department:- Stores & Logistics

Reporting To:- Stores Head

Job Purpose:-

To efficiently manage day-to-day stores activities, packing and dispatch of materials/equipment, transport coordination, and support the Stores Head in inventory and related stores operations.

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Equipment Dispatch & Transport Coordination

2. Coordinate transportation for dispatch of equipment to customers/sites.

3. Arrange suitable vehicles based on equipment size, weight and dispatch requirements.

4. Coordinate with transporters, drivers and internal departments to ensure timely dispatch anddelivery.

5. Ensure necessary dispatch documents are available and properly handed over.

6. Packing & Dispatch of Media and Compounds

7. Handle packing, labeling and dispatch of media, compounds and other materials.

8. Ensure proper quantity, packaging and identification before dispatch.

Maintain dispatch records and documentation.

9. Coordinate with production/purchase/accounts teams wherever required.

10. Stores & Inventory Support

11. Assist the Stores Head in day-to-day stock management activities.

12. Support physical stock verification and reconciliation.

13. Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials.

14. Ensure materials are stored systematically and are easily identifiable.

15. Assist in maintaining minimum/required stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.

16. Job Work Transport Coordination

17. Arrange transportation for materials sent to outside vendors for job work.

18. Coordinate material pickup and delivery with vendors and transporters.

19. Maintain proper records of materials sent for job work and received back.

20. Follow up with vendors for timely return of materials.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Service, Accounts and other departments for stores-related activities.

2. Ensure proper housekeeping and systematic arrangement of the stores area.

3. Follow company procedures for material handling, storage and dispatch.

4. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to stores and logistics.

5. Perform other stores-related activities assigned by the Stores Head.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Graduate / Diploma in any relevant discipline.

2. 3-4 years of experience in Stores, Logistics or Dispatch

3. preferably in a manufacturing/engineering company.

4. Good knowledge of inventory and material handling procedures.

5. Experience in transport and dispatch coordination.

6. Basic computer knowledge, particularly

7. MS Excel and ERP/software used for stores

management

8. Good communication and coordination skills.

9. Ability to follow up with transporters, vendors and internal departments.

10. Should be organized, responsible and capable of handling multiple activities simultaneously.

1. Timely dispatch of equipment and materials.

2. Accurate stock records and minimum inventory discrepancies.

3. Timely arrangement of transport for dispatch and job work.

4. Proper packing and documentation of dispatched materials.

5. Timely follow-up and receipt of job-work materials.

6. Proper housekeeping and organization of stores.
