Store Executive

Role & responsibilities

Position: Junior Assistant Officer - Stores

Experience: 1 to 5 years

To ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counting, effective stores management, and maintaining proper stock levels to support uninterrupted production and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure physical stock matches system stock

• Identify, analyze, and report inventory discrepancies

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve variances

• Maintain cycle count accuracy as per company targets

• Manage inward and outward material movements

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and identification of materials

• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable

• Monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking

• Ensure proper documentation for all transactions

• Coordination, Work closely with Planning, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to Support material availability for production lines

• Escalate critical stock issues on time

• Inventory Control & Improvement

• Analyze root causes for stock discrepancies

• Implement corrective and preventive actions

• Improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency

• Compliance & Safety

• Follow safety guidelines in stores operations

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

• Maintain 5S standards in warehouse/storage areas

• MOOWR operations

• Scram Management

Required Skill:

• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations

• Experience in cycle counting and stock reconciliation

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle)

• Basic knowledge of 5S and safety practices

• Managing inventory accuracy across multiple materials / locations with high attention to detail
