Job Summary

Barbrik Project Limited is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Store Executive to manage day-to-day store operations at the workshop. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory records, managing the receipt and issuance of materials, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the timely availability of spare parts, tools, equipment, and other workshop materials.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of materials, spare parts, tools, and workshop consumables.
• Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records in Excel or inventory management software.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and quantity specifications.
• Issue materials to workshop staff, technicians, and maintenance teams against authorized requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare material indents for timely replenishment.
• Maintain records of spare parts, machinery components, lubricants, oils, safety equipment, and other workshop supplies.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
• Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Workshop, and Maintenance departments for material requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and safe handling of materials.
• Track damaged, defective, excess, and obsolete stock and report discrepancies to the concerned authority.
• Maintain proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Material Issue Slips, stock transfers, and other store-related records.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required by management.
• Follow company policies and procedures for inventory control and material management.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate or Diploma in any relevant discipline; candidates with a technical or inventory management background will be preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, particularly MS Excel, is required.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in a workshop, manufacturing, construction, automobile, or heavy equipment industry.
• Experience handling spare parts, tools, equipment, and maintenance materials will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and stock registers.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to manage material receipts, issues, and stock reconciliation.
• Honest, organized, and responsible approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively with workshop and maintenance teams.

• Accuracy of inventory records and physical stock.
• Timely issuance and availability of workshop materials.
• Minimum stock discrepancies and material wastage.
• Timely preparation of stock reports and documentation.
• Proper storage, organization, and control of inventory.
