Store Executive

Department: Stores & Material Management | Reporting to: Store Manager / Assistant Manager – Stores | Location: Plant / Factory

2.1 Job Purpose

Ensure accurate receipt, inspection coordination, storage, preservation, issue and accounting of materials; maintain physical and system stock accuracy; ensure complete documentation and safe material handling; and support uninterrupted availability of materials for plant operations.

A. Material Inward and GRN

• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices and relevant documents.
• Check material code/description, quantity, UOM, specifications, identification and visible condition.
• Coordinate with Quality/Inspection, Purchase and user departments for inspection and acceptance.
• Prepare GRNs in ERP/SAP within defined TAT; document shortages, excess supplies, damage and incorrect supplies.
• Maintain inward, discrepancy and pending-inspection records.

B. Storage and Preservation

• Ensure correct rack/bin allocation, identification, location mapping and stock segregation.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO where appropriate and maintain traceability of critical spares.
• Ensure suitable storage for bearings, electrical items, instruments, lubricants, chemicals and sensitive materials.
• Prevent corrosion, deterioration, expiry and damage; maintain 5S, safe stacking and clear emergency access.

C. Material Issue and Outward

• Issue material only against authorized requisitions or approved system documents.
• Verify material code, description, quantity, UOM and cost centre before issue.
• Record issues, returns and transfers accurately in ERP/SAP.
• Maintain RGP/NRGP documentation and ensure authorization and traceability for controlled materials.

D. Inventory Management

• Maintain physical/system stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, safety stock and critical spares.
• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, excess, rejected and vendor-return materials.
• Support ABC, FSN, ageing, consumption, turnover and stock valuation analysis.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical verification; document root causes and corrective actions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
