Store Head/ Supervisor (Construction)

• Sales & Lead Support: Monitor and ensure that lead generation and quotation activities of all store personnel are aligned with established standards and targets. Provide hands-on sales support by assisting Wood Specialists in presenting products, addressing customer needs, and closing sales opportunities.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that every customer receives a consistent and high-quality experience throughout their store visit. Handle, resolve, and appropriately escalate customer concerns and complaints to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution.
• Team Development & Retention: Identify employee performance, discipline, training, and development needs. Implement appropriate coaching, motivation, and retention initiatives, and recommend solutions to address employee concerns and improve team performance.
• Store Operations & Facility Management: Ensure that store facilities, equipment, displays, and customer amenities are properly maintained and meet established standards. Enforce the consistent implementation of store policies, systems, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of store activities, operational issues, incidents, customer complaints, and other relevant matters. Prepare and submit required reports to management for proper monitoring and follow-through.
• Inventory & Store Readiness: Monitor product availability, showroom displays, samples, and other store resources to ensure the store is properly maintained and ready to serve customers.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor store and personnel performance against established sales, lead generation, customer service, and operational targets, and recommend appropriate actions to address gaps.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technical, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth store operations and timely resolution of customer and operational concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven Leadership: Strong track record in overseeing retail or store operations, managing teams, and driving sales and profitability targets.
• Sales Acumen: Direct experience in lead generation, quotation management, and closing sales in a consultative or specialist retail environment.
• Problem Solving & Escalation: Excellent conflict-resolution skills with a proven ability to handle difficult customer grievances and team disciplinary matters.
• Operational Discipline: A detail-oriented approach to maintaining facility standards and enforcing strict compliance with company systems and procedures.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to effectively motivate personnel, collaborate with specialists, and manage customer experiences.
