Role: Store In-charge.

Primary Responsibility

Description

Store Management

• Strategically manage the store as per defined guidelines and company policies.
• Optimise space utilisation and ensure quality of stacking, safety and environmental objectives are met.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
• Manage data entry of the inventory management system and reconcile with data storage system (ERP)

Store Operation

• Check incoming materials for quantity against invoices, purchase orders and Goods Receipts slips and/or other documents.
• Receive and distribute Material and keep track/record of all the transactions of Incoming and Outgoing Material.
• Ensure that a balance of supplies between continuous demand and intermittent supply is maintained.
• Make clear notes on the receipt of the items against each invoice.
• Keeps and updates records of goods received and issued.
• Compiles monthly stock report.
• Maintain cleanliness in the storage area.

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels.
• Inform the purchase department well in advance about the items that reach the re- order level to order from supplies.
• Maintain stock and consumption records.
• Review physical inventories periodically and ensure there is no discrepancy between stock in records and physical stock.
