Store In-charge

Job Summary

A Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the daily activities of a store, maintaining stock levels, receiving and issuing materials, keeping records, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained. A fresher can apply for this position with basic computer knowledge, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn inventory management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming materials or goods.
• Maintain stock registers and inventory records.
• Issue materials to employees or departments as required.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory checks.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and organization of items.
• Prepare daily stock reports and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with the purchase department, suppliers, and other departments.
• Ensure materials are handled safely and stored properly.
• Follow company rules and safety procedures.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: any degree
• Computer knowledge: Basic MS Excel, MS Word, and data entry.
• Additional skills: Knowledge of inventory management and stock registers is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
