Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Optometrist Cum Store Incharge to manage eye testing, customer consultations, optical sales, and day-to-day store operations. The ideal candidate should have strong optometry knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to manage a retail optical store efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests for customers.
• Perform refraction and identify common vision-related issues.
• Recommend suitable lenses, frames, and optical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Explain prescriptions, lens options, coatings, and other optical products to customers.
• Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of the outlet.
• Handle sales, billing, stock management, and inventory control.
• Achieve store sales targets and improve customer conversion.
• Maintain proper records of eye tests, sales, inventory, and store activities.
• Ensure proper display and merchandising of frames and optical products.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with the central team regarding stock, sales, staff attendance, and operational requirements.
• Ensure store cleanliness, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
• Support and guide store staff to achieve business and customer service objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of optometry, refraction, and eye testing.
• Good customer handling and communication skills.
• Retail sales and store management experience.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and billing processes.
• Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day store operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.Optom / Diploma in Optometry.
• 610 years of experience in optical retail or optometry.
• Candidates with experience as Optometrist, Store Incharge, Optical Store Manager, or Optical Sales Executive are preferred.
