Store Keeper

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage day-to-day store and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of materials and stock while ensuring proper inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, goods, and supplies.
• Verify quantities and items against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Properly store and organize materials to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Issue materials to departments based on approved requests.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management about low-stock or fast-moving items.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the store area.
• Prepare GRN, material issue notes, stock reports, and other store-related documents.
• Coordinate with purchasing, accounts, production, and other departments as required.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards related to inventory and warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Plus Two / Degree in any relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in store keeping, inventory, or warehouse operations.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management software is an advantage.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work systematically.
• Physically fit and willing to handle store/warehouse activities.
