Store Keeper

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and properly store raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and other inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
• Ensure proper stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized requisitions.
• Maintain proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist in monthly/annual stock taking.
• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and arrangement of materials in the store.
• Maintain proper documentation, including GRNs, material requisitions, issue notes, and stock registers.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Accounts, and other departments regarding inventory requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper utilization of store space.
• Report damaged, expired, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory to the concerned supervisor.

Requirements

• Education: Intermediate / DAE / Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plastic industry.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
