Store Keeper

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our garage automotive parts inventory and workshop tool crib. The ideal candidate will ensure that inventory levels are accurate, parts are sourced efficiently, and the garage operates smoothly without delays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Track incoming and outgoing parts, components, and shop materials using our inventory software.
• Receiving & Inspection: Inspect all incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities against purchase orders, and safely log items into stock.
• Parts Issuing: Hand out appropriate parts, fluids, and specialized tools to automotive technicians based on work orders.
• Supplier Coordination: Place orders with automotive parts suppliers, negotiate delivery timelines, and follow up on delayed orders.
• Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized stockroom, utilizing clear labeling and proper storage techniques for hazardous materials (e.g., oils, batteries).
• Record Keeping: Complete routine inventory audits, update logs, and report low stock levels to garage management to avoid project delays.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or parts counter specialist, preferably within an automotive garage, dealership, or industrial workshop.
• Automotive Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive parts, components, and common mechanical tools.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and clear communication habits.
