Store Keeper

WE ARE HIRING: STORE KEEPER

Honley Engineering is a company with CNC machining operations. We are looking for a reliable, organised Store Keeper to join our team.

Location: Sanghjani , Islamabad
Employment type: Full-time, on-site
Reporting to: Procurement / Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, tools and consumables, and check them against the purchase order and delivery challan
• Inspect items for quantity, specification and visible damage, and report discrepancies right away
• Prepare and maintain GRNs (Goods Received Notes) and update the stock register or ERP daily
• Issue materials to production and maintenance only against approved requisitions
• Store items properly by category (raw material, cutting tools and inserts, spares, consumables, PPE) with correct labelling and bin cards
• Follow FIFO and keep the store clean, safe and organised
• Track stock levels and tell Procurement when items reach their reorder level
• Take part in monthly physical stock counts and reconcile any differences
• Handle scrap, returns and rejected material according to company procedure
• Keep records of gate passes, returnable items and tools issued to staff

Requirements

• Matric / Intermediate (a diploma or B.Com is a plus)
• 2–3 years of storekeeping experience, preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or CNC workshop
• Knowledge of engineering materials, fasteners, tooling and consumables
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer skills (ERP or inventory software experience preferred)
• Good record-keeping skills, honesty and attention to detail
• Able to lift and move materials and to follow safety rules, including PPE
• Basic English and Urdu reading and writing
