Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage construction site inventory, maintain stock records, and ensure the timely receipt and issue of construction materials. The candidate should have experience in inventory management, stock verification, and material documentation at a construction site.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials delivered to the site.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of materials as required.
• Issue materials to site engineers and workers based on approved requests.
• Maintain stock registers, material issue slips, and goods receipt notes (GRNs).
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchase, accounts, and site teams regarding material requirements.
• Track material consumption, wastage, damaged goods, and returns.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safety of materials.
• Prepare daily and periodic inventory reports.
• Maintain invoices, delivery challans, and other material-related documents.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass or Diploma; relevant experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock maintenance.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to maintain stock registers and prepare inventory reports.
• Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with site personnel.

Benefits

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month.
