Store Keeper

Role:

Sterling & Wilson is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage site stores and material inventory for an industrial EPC project at AVFCCL, Namrup, Assam. The candidate will be responsible for material receipt, storage, issuance, stock reconciliation, documentation, and coordination with project and procurement teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the industrial EPC project site.
• Ensure compliance with site store procedures, documentation standards, and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Ensuring proper storage and timely availability of materials as per company requirements.
• Track material movement, receipts, and dispatches.
• Prevent material loss, damage, and unauthorized usage.
• Verify invoices, delivery challans, and other material-related documents.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and identification of materials.
• Coordinate with the purchase and project teams regarding material requirements.

Required Skills:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or material management, preferably in industrial EPC, construction, or project-site environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP, including relevant inventory or material management transactions.
• Strong skills in inventory control, stock reconciliation, and material documentation.
• Ability to work at a project site in Namrup, Assam.
