STORE LEAD

Store Location: Poblacion 2, Sto. Tomas, Batangas

We’re looking for a Store Lead to take full ownership of our Master Shifu site—a convenience store with retail products, prepared beverages, reheated food, and an attached warehouse.

The Store Lead is accountable for sales, customer service, food safety, inventory accuracy, cash integrity, store operations, and team performance.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Store Operations & Customer Experience

• Lead daily store opening and closing operations
• Maintain shelf availability, pricing accuracy, planogram compliance, and cleanliness
• Manage queues, peak-hour operations, and customer concerns
• Drive daily and weekly sales targets
• Execute local promotions, bundles, and displays

Beverage & Food Service

• Ensure beverages are prepared according to standard recipes and portions
• Supervise safe reheating and holding of pre-made food
• Monitor chiller, freezer, and hot-holding temperatures
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, FEFO, and proper food segregation
• Manage food waste, mark-downs, and spoilage
• Keep the store inspection-ready and compliant with applicable health and safety requirements

Warehouse, Inventory & Replenishment

• Oversee the complete stock flow—from receiving and storage to replenishment, returns, and disposal
• Verify deliveries against PO/DR, including quantity, quality, expiry, and temperature
• Maintain proper FEFO/FIFO and storage segregation
• Conduct cycle counts and monthly physical inventory
• Reconcile system inventory against physical stock and investigate variances
• Manage reorder points, slow-moving items, near-expiry products, and stock-outs

Cash, Sales & Controls

• Oversee cash floats, POS transactions, Z-readings, deposits, and petty cash
• Enforce proper approval and documentation for voids, discounts, refunds, and employee purchases
• Submit daily sales and cash reports
• Safeguard company assets and implement loss-prevention controls

People Leadership

• Prepare duty rosters based on store traffic and manpower needs
• Train, coach, and evaluate Store Crew
• Manage attendance, discipline, and performance
• Cross-train the team to ensure all key store functions are covered

Compliance, Safety & Facilities

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards, occupational safety rules, and applicable LGU/BIR requirements
• Maintain emergency equipment, first aid supplies, and emergency exits
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of chillers, freezers, beverage machines, reheating equipment, and other store/warehouse equipment

Reporting

• Prepare daily sales and cash reports
• Submit weekly inventory, waste, and stock-out reports
• Conduct monthly performance reviews with the Operations Manager
• Escalate supply, equipment, food-safety, and security risks promptly

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of a four-year course in Business, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Food Technology, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in retail, convenience store, QSR, or food-retail operations
• At least 1–2 years of team supervision experience
• Hands-on experience in store/foodservice operations and inventory/warehouse control
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMP, FEFO, cold chain, reheating, and hot-holding controls
• Proficient in POS systems, inventory systems, MS Excel, or Google Sheets
• Valid food handler’s health certificate or willing to obtain one before starting
• Willing to work shifting schedules and be based in Sto. Tomas, Batangas

PREFERRED

• Basic Food Safety or HACCP awareness/certification
• Experience opening a new store or establishing store-and-warehouse processes
• Familiarity with LGU permitting and FDA/LGU inspection requirements
• Resident of Sto. Tomas or a nearby Batangas municipality
