As a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to affect what happens throughout our stores every day directly. Our Managers are given a lot of responsibilities, but they’re also given the ability to make decisions and try new things. Job Duties

• Work the floor alongside staff and department management to set an example, promote a positive environment, and stay in touch with employees and customers.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
• Engage with customers to make them feel welcome and excited about our products and services.
• Ensure quality, freshness, and safety of all products.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all staff and customers.
• Enforce all company policies.
• Delegate tasks as required.
• Schedule staff. Monitor and address attendance violations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff.
• Discipline staff and department management as required, up to and including termination.
• Monitor department performance and offer guidance as required.
• Use a variety of equipment safely and correctly.
• Train staff in the proper use of equipment.
• Ensure safety and security of company property.
• Additional tasks and duties as circumstances warrant. Expect the unexpected!

Requirements

• Work environment includes continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and climb for up to 8 - 10 consecutive hours.
• Schedule may entail evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel between two locations may be required.
• 40 – 50 hour workweeks are typical.
• Basic computer, math, and data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Strong selling skills.
• Strong merchandising skills.
• Retail food experience preferred.
