STORE MANAGER – 7th Heaven Bakery

7th Heaven Bakery is looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Store Manager to lead our team at our new bakery and dessert café in Eden Shopping Centre.

We’re looking for someone with strong café/restaurant management experience who also has hands-on Barista experience. This is an active, customer-facing role – we want a manager who is happy to lead from the front and support the team during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead, motivate and supervise the FOH/Barista team
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffees and beverages when required
• Maintain excellent customer service standards
• Manage staff rotas, shifts and day-to-day staffing requirements
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and presentation
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
• Support sales growth, promotions and store targets
• Ensure the store operates smoothly during busy periods
• Work closely with the owners on improving overall store performance

What We're Looking For

• Barista experience is essential.
• Previous café, bakery, restaurant or hospitality supervisory/management experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on sales and controlling waste.
• Hands-on approach and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and operational standards.

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
