Store Manager (Cato Riverdale Rd)

POSITION SUMMARY

Cato Fashions is a rapidly growing company based in Memphis, TN.

We‘re looking for a Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our operations.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving goals.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring store operations are running smoothly, and maintaining profitability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure smooth store operations are running smoothly and effectively.
• Manage daily inventory processes and ensure supplies are properly stocked.
• Ensure cash handling and security procedures are followed.
• Monitor and maintain store cleanliness standards.
• Maintain product displays and ensure all products are available at the correct price.
• Ensure store is merchandising properly to maximize store appeal.
• Review store visual plan to ensure goals are being achieved.
• Oversee day-to-day stock movements to maximize profits.
• Maintain stock levels in the appropriate areas within the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Business Manager (e.g., inventory management, purchasing).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• 2+ years of women’s fashion retail management experience in a retail environment preferred (e.g.,
• Proven track record of success in leading teams of employees.
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude that allows for flexibility in dealing with changing circumstances (e.g., changing weather conditions, labor demands, etc.).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you must be able to multitask in a variety of environments where there are multiple priorities and deadlines that require strict attention to detail and results.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision or supervision of a supervisor or manager who reports directly to the Store Manager or General Manager for the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
