Duties

• Lead and supervise the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize product visibility and sales potential
• Manage store operations including opening, closing, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and bookkeeping tasks
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees to build a high-performing team aligned with company values
• Develop staff schedules, monitor shift performance, and ensure efficient workflow across all departments
• Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory control to optimize profitability
• Maintain operational standards by supervising cashiering activities, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and managing budgets

Skills

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities for managerial interactions and customer engagement
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Expertise in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math for accurate sales tracking and stock control
• Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management with experience in merchandising, pricing strategies, and operational oversight
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and inventory control
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during shift management and operational duties
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques combined with basic math skills for budgeting and sales analysis
• Experience in supervising teams within a fast-paced environment such as grocery or general retail stores
• Strong managerial communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate across departments effectively

Pay: $52,718.17 - $63,488.55 per year
