Store Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll run the day-to-day of our Queenstown store driving sales, setting the tone for customer experience, and building a team culture around clienteling and genuine brand advocacy. You'll own your numbers, your visual standards, and your people. It's a role for someone who wants real input into how the store performs and looks, with meaningful projects ahead as we build on what Queenstown has already achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team that delivers exceptional, personal customer experiences
• Drive sales performance and hit targets, while managing wage budgets sensibly
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, stock, and online fulfilment (including Live Chat)
• Set the visual and aesthetic standard for the store, true to the Deadly Ponies look
• Build a team culture rooted in clienteling, care, and brand pride

About you

• 2–3 years in premium or luxury retail, with at least 2 years in a management role
• A genuine track record in sales, clienteling, and customer service
• Comfort running a busy online fulfilment operation alongside the shop floor
• Warmth and confidence in equal measure - you lead with style, not just structure
