What they need
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and customer-focused Store Manager to join our team and help lead the day-to-day running of our store.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, providing excellent customer service and taking responsibility for the smooth operation of a busy store.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
You will be expected to lead by example and work alongside the rest of the team rather than simply managing from the sidelines. You will be involved in all areas of the business, including customer service, barista duties, taking orders, payments and supporting the kitchen during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities

- Report directly to the General Manager.
- Manage staff requests and holiday/leave requests.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work towards positive resolutions.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customers receive a welcoming experience.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Work alongside other team members equally and lead by example.
- Prepare and serve drinks as a barista.
- Assist the kitchen team during busy periods when required.
- Complete an end-of-day report for the General Manager.
- Identify areas where the store can improve and communicate ideas to the General Manager.
- Ensure the store is cleaned and left to a high standard at closing.
- Support the team in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all staff follow relevant health and safety procedures.
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and general store presentation.
- Deal with day-to-day issues confidently and escalate matters to the General Manager when necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, responsible and organised.
- Confident managing a team and making decisions.
- Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Willing to get involved in all areas of the store.
- Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with complaints or difficult situations.
- A good communicator who can work effectively with both staff and management.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Able to follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures.
- Experienced in hospitality, retail, cafés or a similar customer-facing environment is preferred.
Hours & Benefits
- 37 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours over time upon request and depending on business requirements.
- Discounted meals while working.
- A hands-on management role with responsibility and opportunity to develop.
- Supportive working environment.
- Opportunity to take on increased responsibility as the business grows.
If you are a motivated and practical manager who enjoys being part of the team and takes pride in delivering great customer service, we would love to hear from you.
