Store Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies.
• Execute sales strategies, monitor performance metrics, and implement initiatives to boost retail sales and customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
• Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks with accuracy and integrity.
• Train and develop team members through coaching on customer service excellence, sales techniques, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with staff, vendors, and customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards and store policies.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, merchandising, stock control, and shift management.
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience in training & development, team management, budgeting, and organizational skills.
• Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, wireless sales technology (if applicable), marketing initiatives, and administrative tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and customer service excellence.
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred.
