Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training & development to enhance team performance
• Manage inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability
• Supervise shift management, employee scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage store budgets effectively
• Foster a positive work environment through strong managerial communication, employee orientation, and leadership development

Skills

• Proven experience in retail store management or supervisory roles within the retail industry sales team management experience preferred
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math skills for retail math calculations
• Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and effective communication skills
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, along with supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of retail product lines, merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and operational management principles
• Experience with cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, budgeting, and payroll processing
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while managing multiple priorities efficiently
