About the role

Fully responsible for daily store operations management, overseeing gold recycling, gold bar and coin sales, and digital gold display promotion across all business lines, with accountability for achieving monthly and quarterly performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage store team including scheduling, training, performance appraisal, service standard implementation, and handling customer complaints and complex recycling valuation disputes
• Control gold recycling operations: verify physical gold, manage recycling risks, maintain records, coordinate with upstream supply chain, control inventory in and out, conduct stock checks, and implement security measures to prevent counterfeit and adulterated gold risks
• Coordinate with the group's digital gold department on digital gold display and promotion, explain digital gold product logic to customers, and drive online traffic conversion to offline store visits
• Maintain store materials and intelligent recycling equipment, ensure compliance with Hong Kong precious metals trading regulations, preserve transaction records, and cooperate with regulatory inspections
• Collect store sales and recycling operation data, regularly report operational status to management, and plan offline customer acquisition and in-store marketing activities

About you

• Diploma or above education; possess legal Hong Kong work status and ability to work long-term in Hong Kong; familiar with the local Hong Kong market
• Five or more years of Hong Kong precious metals/jewellery gold shop store management experience; familiar with gold recycling operational procedures, able to assess gold purity, and identify common counterfeit and adulterated gold; experience in digital gold and precious metals financial product promotion is preferred
• Understand Hong Kong precious metals trading compliance requirements, familiar with customer information registration and transaction filing rules for recycling, possess risk control awareness, and able to prevent fraud and counterfeit gold transaction risks
• Fluent Cantonese, proficient Mandarin, basic English, skilled in customer communication and negotiation; familiarity with local customer base in Wan Chai and Hong Kong Island is preferred
• Possess team management capability, strong stress resistance, able to work rotating shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; no adverse criminal record
• Familiar with intelligent gold recycling equipment operation, knowledgeable in inventory management and stock control; experience as a gold shop, pawn shop, or precious metals recycling store manager is preferred
