Store Manager

We’re opening new Drywall Warehouse branches in Waikato and Tauranga, and we’re looking for hands-on Store Managers who want the opportunity to help build something from the ground up. These are full-time positions working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, where you’ll play a key role in getting the store up and running, building strong relationships with our customers and creating a store people want to come back to!

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store. You’ll coordinate daily priorities, oversee stock control, receiving and dispatch, coordinate customer orders and deliveries, and help drive H&S requirements across the store to make sure safe work practices are followed. This is a hands-on role, so you’ll be just as comfortable helping a customer at the counter, getting an order out the door as you are coordinating the team and making sure the day runs smoothly!

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to make a real contribution to the success of the store. You’ll be practical, organised and comfortable taking the lead day to day, with a natural ability to connect with customers and build genuine relationships. We work hard, back each other and have a bit of fun along the way, so we’re looking for someone who’ll bring a great attitude and enjoy being part of the team.

We want our stores to be places where customers know the team, enjoy coming in and know they’ll be looked after, so delivering great service and building those relationships will be a big part of what you do! Experience in warehousing, trade supply or a similar environment would be ideal, along with a forklift licence. Industry knowledge is a bonus, but a great attitude, initiative and willingness to get stuck in are just as important.
