STORE MANAGER

JOB TITLE: STORE MANAGER

*JOB SUMMARY:*

The Store Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*1. Sales & Operations Management:*

• Drive sales and ensure achievement of monthly sales targets

• Oversee daily store operations, opening and closing procedures

• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints

*2. Inventory & Stock Control:*

• Manage stock levels, stock taking, and inventory accuracy

• Monitor receiving, storage, and issuance of goods

• Prevent stock loss, damage, and expiry / pilferage

• Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts

*3. Team Leadership & Supervision:*

• Recruit, train, supervise and appraise store staff / cashiers / attendants

• Create duty roster and assign daily tasks

• Motivate team to achieve productivity

*4. Visual Merchandising & Store Standards:*

• Ensure store is clean, well-arranged and properly merchandised at all times

• Ensure proper display of products and price tags

*5. Financial & Reporting:*

• Handle cash, POS reconciliation and daily sales reporting

• Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly sales and stock reports

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and policies

*REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:*

• BSc / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

• Minimum of 2-4 years experience as Store Manager / Supervisor in Retail / Supermarket / Pharmacy / Manufacturing sector

• Proven experience in inventory management and sales

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Must be honest, accountable and detail-oriented

• Proficient in MS Excel and inventory software [e.g., QuickBooks, POS]

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
