Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
• Oversee sales management strategies, including pricing, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Handle payroll processing, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy.
• Implement operational procedures for purchasing, inventory management, and store maintenance to ensure efficiency.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, supervision, and leadership in shift management.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising sales teams and managing store operations.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development, and team management.
• Strong skills in negotiation, customer service excellence, and managerial communication.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for financial transactions.
• Prior experience in grocery or retail stores is highly desirable; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts such as pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis is essential.
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory roles that involved operational management and merchandising are preferred.
