About the Role

Our dispensary is seeking an experienced, operationally focused General Manager to oversee our high-volume product pipeline, inventory systems, and vendor ecosystem. Operating alongside an AGM focused on HR and Compliance, you will take full ownership of what enters, moves through, and leaves our retail floor.

We run a massive inventory footprint in a high-throughput flagship environment. This role requires a leader who excels under pressure, possesses deep supply-chain discipline, and knows how to keep a large-scale cannabis store fully stocked, compliant, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Purchasing & Brand Relationships: Lead negotiations, purchasing strategies, and menu assortment with New Jersey licensed cultivators and processors to maintain a high-performing product catalog.
• Inventory Control & Vault Management: Oversee all intake, vault organization, daily audits, and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy across Flowhub POS and METRC.
• Product Performance Analytics: Collaborate with internal analytics to evaluate product sell-through rates, gross margins, shelf-life, and consumer demand to optimize purchasing orders and minimize dead stock.
• Floor & Vault Operations: Direct back-of-house intake staff and floor budtenders during product drops, intake cycles, and stockroom transfers.
• Shift Leadership: Work 40–50 hours per week on-site, sharing floor management duties (opening/closing rotations, weekend coverage) to ensure store operations run seamlessly.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Flagship Experience: Minimum 3+ years of retail management experience in a high-volume flagship dispensary. (Note: Candidates with only boutique or small-format dispensary experience will not be considered for this role).
• High-Pressure Resilience: Demonstrated track record of managing rapid inventory turn, heavy customer foot traffic, and high-volume vault workflows without compromising accuracy.
• Tech Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Flowhub POS and METRC (NJ seed-to-sale tracking).
• Location & Commute: Must reside within a 25–30 minute commute of Mt. Laurel, NJ for reliable opening, closing, and emergency store coverage.
• Schedule & Physical Demands: Must be willing to work 40–50 hours per week across weekdays, weekends, early mornings (7:30 AM starts), and late nights (10:30 PM closes). Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and maneuver 100 lb rolling vaults into secure storage.
• State Compliance: Must be 21+ years of age, pass a state-mandated background check, and be eligible for an NJ CRC Cannabis Employee Registration Badge.
