Store Manager

A leading international luxury fashion group is preparing for a new store opening in Kuala Lumpur and is seeking an experienced Store Manager.

This is a key leadership opportunity for an accomplished retail professional with a strong background in luxury ready-to-wear, exceptional customer experience, team leadership and commercial performance.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the store's daily operations, team performance and commercial results, while ensuring the highest standards of luxury customer experience and brand presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate and develop the store team to achieve sales and KPI objectives.
• Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
• Drive clienteling and personalised customer engagement to maximise sales opportunities.
• Coach and develop the team in product knowledge, styling and luxury service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, inventory control, cash handling and operational procedures.
• Maintain consistently high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and customer trends and translate insights into commercial actions.
• Support seasonal collections, product launches, VIC appointments and in-store events.
• Work closely with regional and head-office teams on commercial, operational and brand initiatives.
• Ensure the store consistently reflects the standards and image of the brand.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a luxury ready-to-wear or designer fashion store.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets and managing retail KPIs.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing a high-performing fashion retail team.
• Strong understanding of luxury customer service, clienteling and relationship management.
• Excellent knowledge of fashion retail operations and store management.
• Strong product awareness and an appreciation for fashion, styling and seasonal collections.
• High standards of personal presentation and attention to detail.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
