About the role

Ace Hardware Phils., Inc is seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our operations in Ace Buiders SM City Pampanga Branch. This is a full-time position that represents a key leadership role within our retail operations. As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store performance, including sales, operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction. This role is crucial to driving business success and maintaining the high standards Ace Hardware is known for across our retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
• Manage store profitability by monitoring sales performance, controlling costs, and maximizing efficiency
• Lead, recruit, train and develop store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure excellent customer service delivery and handle customer concerns with professionalism and care
• Manage inventory control, stock rotation, and merchandise displays to optimize sales and store presentation
• Implement and execute marketing and promotional initiatives to drive footfall and increase sales
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards and security protocols at all times
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends and implement improvement strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and the local community
• Report regularly to senior management on store performance, challenges and opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of 3-5 years in retail store management or similar leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management and sales strategies
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Sound financial acumen and understanding of profit and loss management
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• Physical ability to perform store duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Relevant retail management certification or qualification is preferred
