Store Manager

1. Manage daily store and warehouse operations supporting multiple projects across the UAE.
2. Supervise the receiving, inspection, storage and issuing of fit-out materials, including gypsum, MDF, timber, paints, ceiling accessories, joinery materials, lighting fixtures and MEP consumables.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems and ensure proper documentation of GRNs, delivery notes, material issue notes and purchase references.
4. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
5. Prepare monthly stock reports and maintain records required for internal, finance and ISO audits.
6. Coordinate material deliveries and dispatches to project sites according to project schedules and installation requirements.
7. Track materials issued to project teams and subcontractors and ensure unused or surplus materials are returned and recorded.
8. Coordinate with Procurement, suppliers, project managers and site teams regarding material availability, delivery schedules, shortages and incorrect or damaged supplies.
9. Ensure proper storage, identification, segregation and protection of materials against heat, humidity, dust and damage.
10. Monitor material consumption, wastage, non-moving stock and expired materials, and recommend corrective actions.
11. Ensure safe storage and handling of chemicals, adhesives, thinners and other hazardous materials in accordance with applicable requirements.
12. Maintain warehouse housekeeping, safety signage, fire safety equipment, MSDS/SDS documentation and appropriate PPE practices.
13. Ensure safe forklift operations and verify that operators meet applicable training and licensing requirements.
14. Supervise storekeepers, helpers and forklift operators, and monitor attendance, discipline, productivity and compliance with company procedures.
15. Support stock audits, identify process gaps and implement improvements in warehouse layout, inventory accuracy and material control.
16. Verify material specifications and required product approvals against approved project requirements before escalating discrepancies to the department concerned.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management or a related field.
2. Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in interior fit-out, joinery or interior contracting.
3. Proven experience managing materials for multiple projects and coordinating deliveries across different UAE locations.
4. Strong knowledge of fit-out and joinery materials, including gypsum, MDF, timber, paints, ceiling materials and MEP consumables.
5. Experience with ERP-based inventory management systems such as SAP, Odoo, Zoho or ERP Next.
6. Good understanding of GRNs, delivery notes, material issue records, stock reconciliation and audit documentation.
7. Familiarity with applicable UAE warehouse safety requirements and relevant project or authority approvals.
8. Knowledge of material storage, handling, stock rotation, wastage control and inventory reporting.
9. Strong coordination, team leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
10. Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
11. A valid UAE forklift license or relevant forklift safety knowledge is an advantage.
