Store Manager

• Buy stock at best available price, including from new suppliers.
• Build supplier relationships and manage online orders.
• Ensure timely delivery and check goods for quality, quantity, and correct invoicing.
• Monitor sales and stock to reduce waste and avoid over-ordering.
• Keep purchase costs within budget.
• Ensure correct product display and pricing.
• Provide fast, friendly service and manage customer complaints.
• Train staff to handle issues and improve service quality.
• Prepare rosters and train staff.
• Ensure staff follow store standards and work efficiently.
• Ensure staff follow legal age verification processes and adhere to local health and safety and vaping retail laws.
• Support staff in maintaining high service and hygiene levels.
• Help execute marketing activities and adjust prices as needed.
• Track costs, sales, and waste to meet profit goals.
• Review financial performance with the owner regularly.
• Approve or delegate unusual staff decisions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Either a minimum of two years of work experience in retail/ or relevant or a relevant / or any tertiary qualification of minimum level 4 is acceptable in case of no experience (overseas equivalent qualification or experience is also acceptable)
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inventory, stock levels, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety practices.
• A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

Pay: $31.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
